Feeding Friends

According to a study by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, in 2015, an estimated 12.7 percent (15.8 million) of American households were food insecure at least some time during the year in 2015, meaning they lacked access to enough food for an active, healthy life for all household members. This means that, at times during the year, the food intake of household members was reduced and their normal eating patterns were disrupted because the household lacked money and other resources for food.

Wayside Chapel launched Feeding Friends: a ministry to help relieve hunger, loneliness, and the burden people face while dealing with this issue, whether alone, or as a family. Wayside Chapel invites you to come to our church on Tuesday night to share a meal. Food is prepared weekly, and dinner for our friends – newcomers and familiar faces – begins at 6:00 PM.  Please join us.

We look forward to meeting you as we eat around the table together.

Every Tuesday, 6:00PM – 7:00PM

Wayside Chapel – 2584 Felsite Ave. Rosamond, CA, 93560
